Your workspace
The workspace is the set of managed applications the platform can run for your organization. You turn them on from one page, they appear under one address, and the platform keeps the software under them patched.
What the workspace is
Your organization's Workspace page lists the applications the platform offers and the state of each one for your organization. The list is not a fixed set: a row ships only when its licence has been reviewed and the platform's own measurement of the Nextcloud instance says it can be enabled, so the catalog you see is a subset of what has been catalogued.
Each row carries what it is, which category it belongs to, which plan tier covers it, and whether it is already running for your organization. Applications the platform provisions with your organization itself — rather than one you turn on from the catalog — appear too, and their own pages say where they are managed.
Turning an app on
Turning an app on is a per-organization action, and the platform offers it only where it can honour that. A Nextcloud app the measurement classified group-restrictable can be turned on for your organization alone. An app classified instance-wide cannot: the platform runs one instance for every organization, so such an app is presented with the Instance-wide tag and an operator manages it. Every other row says why it carries no button rather than offering one that would fail.
Your plan decides which rows you can turn on. An app above your plan's tier stays visible, and the catalog's own facets let you filter to the apps your plan already includes. Turning an app off is the one lifecycle action you hold; restarts and resizing run on the shared instance and belong to an operator.
What your members see
The Workspace page is available to every member of the organization, not only to owners and admins. Access is granted by product role, not by organization membership. Roles are set in Members, and the manage page for each app reports how many members hold a role in that app's product.
Each app has its own page at /orgs/<org>/workspace/<appId>. It shows whether the app is running, who reaches it, how sign-in works for it, and — on its Help tab — what the app is, how to open it and where its own documentation lives.
Where the measured state is
The workspace's own state is published rather than asserted. Your organization's status page at /orgs/<org>/status carries the suite's entry beside your services and databases, with one row per probe the platform registers for it. The Status & health page explains what those rows mean.
